Oreo is back after two-year adventure

When Oreo the black cat went missing two years ago, her worried family put up posters on every lamppost in streets around their home.

Lucy Davidson-Redpath and husband Gary contacted local vets and searched every patch of nearby undergrowth in case the two-year-old cat had been hit by a car.

Their daughter Lily, pictured with Oreo, was distraught when no sign could be found of the pet she named after her favourite chocolate biscuit on her fourth birthday.

So the family were stunned when Seadown Veterinary Services called them last weekend to say Oreo had been found and could be returned to them.

Mother-of-two Lucy, 39, a council worker from Dibden Purlieu, Hampshire, said: "I just wish Oreo could talk to tell us where she's been for the past two year."
